85% Garnacha tinta - Vinya Vella (Vine Vale, Barossa Valley)

15% Garnacha blanca - Schwarz Vineyard (Bethany, Barossa Valley)

Grenache intercourse. The coming together of grenache noir and its mutant white variant to produce a rosado style spring wine.

Harvested three days apart in late March. Half of the garnacha tinta was direct pressed and the other half was a mix of whole berries and whole bunches. The garnacha blanca was destemmed and co-fermented with the tinta for 27 days.

Blood orange, fresh raspberry, Campari & pink peppercorn. It’s super chalky and bone dry.

A delicious experiment gone right.
